We may at any time make changes to this site and the details displayed on it (including prices).

 Terms and Conditions of Use

1.         Orders, Prices and Payment

Upon the receipt of your order and where applicable, receipt of the required deposit, Ceramica D’Arte will confirm acceptance of your order by email which will be sent to the email address you provide on your order details.  Whether or not you receive the email, our acceptance of your order will create a legally binding contract between us.  We reserve the right not to supply you at our discretion, without giving cause.

Products may take up to 8 weeks to be delivered.  In the event of non availability for whatever reason we reserve the right to rescind the contract.

The prices for goods displayed for sale on this site are as set out on the site, and are Ceramica D’Arte prices. 

Some products require a deposit to be paid at the time of order, and any such requirements will be clearly displayed where they apply.

All goods remain the property of Ceramica D’arte Limited until cleared payment is received in full.

Ceramica D'Arte accepts Mastercard/Visa/Visa Debit Cards only.  Currently Ceramica D'Arte are unable to accept American Express, Switch, Solo or Electron cards.  Payment can also be made by cheque.  Please send the cheque with your address and cheque card number on the back to Ceramica D'Arte Limited, 12a Birkbeck Road, Finchley, London N12 8DZ. 

Ceramica D’Arte will not despatch your order until you have paid for it in full (including applicable delivery charges). Upon payment, goods will be dispatched promptly subject to credit card authorisation or receipt of cleared funds (in the case of payment by cheque).  If payment is made by credit card we reserve the right to deliver only to the address at which the credit card is registered.  The total amount you pay is the same, regardless of the payment method.

2. Cancellation, Refund and Complaints Policy

You may cancel your order at any stage prior to the goods being delivered to you.  In addition, in accordance with UK/European consumer protection law, you have the right to cancel your order within seven working days without giving a reason.  The seven working days commence the day after goods are received.  However, in addition to these provisions, a refund will be given if an item is found to be unsuitable for any reason and returned in original condition within 14 days of receipt of goods.  This policy does not apply to specially commissioned or personalised products.

Ceramica D’Arte will retain all or part of any deposit as a contribution towards any losses or costs we suffer as a result of the cancellation.  Returned items must be packaged so as not to incur damage during transit.  Return postage will be refunded.  If you are cancelling because of any problem with the goods, please notify us of the problem at the time of cancellation.  This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Refunds will only be made to the original charged credit/charge card account (in the case of credit/charge card payment) or by cheque payable to original payee. 

We will endeavour to respond to complaints received within five working days and at that time we will provide you with a likely timescale for resolving the dispute.  You will be kept informed of progress throughout the process.

3. Returns Policy

On cancellation for whatever reason you must return to us the goods we have delivered to you.  If the goods are faulty, incorrect or damaged on delivery we will meet the cost of return (but we ask that you allow us to nominate the carrier) and (at your option) replace or exchange any such goods; or refund you for the price paid including delivery charges.  In all other circumstances we will (at your option) exchange the goods or refund you the amount paid for the goods only, less any deposit paid.  This policy does not apply to products purchased at a discounted price, sale items or specially commissioned products.

This policy is in addition to any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

4. General

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by our terms and conditions.

Ceramica D’Arte products offered for sale are clearly marked to indicate if they are suitable for use with food.  Ceramica D’Arte cannot accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for damages, injuries or loss caused by their mis-use in any way.

All contracts are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

All sales are subject only to Ceramica D’Arte Terms and Conditions.

We shall not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations to you is prevented, frustrated or impeded by reason of acts of God, war and other hostilities, civil commotion, accident, strikes, lock outs, trade disputes, acts or restraints of Government, imposition or restrictions of imports or exports or any other cause not within the reasonable control of Ceramica D’arte.

If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these terms and conditions shall not be affected and shall remain in force.

We cannot guarantee that the appearance and/or colours of products shown on this site exactly reproduce the appearance and/or colours of the physical products themselves. All sizes quoted are approximate.

These terms and conditions and any contract between us shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us.

In these terms and conditions:-

"Ceramica D’Arte" means, Ceramica D’Arte Limited and any other connected organisation that supplies the goods ordered by you and any successor to its business;

"We and Us" means Ceramica D’Arte Limited either alone or together with you, as the context requires;

"Working day" means every day of the year except weekends, and English statutory and public holidays;

"You" means the person ordering goods subject to these terms and conditions;
